Domingos Cruz, Managing Partner of CCA, shares his expectations for 2020 to Jornal Económico's "Who's Who" and talks about the challenge of capturing and retaining talent.
According the CCA’s managing partner, "it would be useful, if not vital, for Portugal to continue to develop solid policies to attract foreign investment, given the shortage of capital in the Portuguese economy, along with a renewed reformist drive that would allow to make sectors / areas such as public administration, justice or tax policy, more agile, predictable and capable of meeting the challenges that an open economy like the Portuguese economy poses".
Domingos Cruz also points out that "the great challenge for firms today lies not only in reconciling the 'holy trinity' - people, space and technology, but also in reconciling generations: in making the firm appealing to lateral hiring, for lawyers who are already in the firm and making this profession appealing to millennials and generation z".
