Pedro Antunes explains the amendments to the Pay Transparency Directive

News

Following the approval of the Pay Transparency Directive in the European Parliament, Pedro Antunes, Partner and Head of Labour Practice, talks about the comparative implications that pay transparency may have in the market, in terms of raising awareness of the possibility of pay inequality and the need for candidates to find positions that offer fairer and more egalitarian salaries.

" In fact, I believe that in a situation where a company is willing to offer fair and competitive salaries, it will be easier to attract and retain high quality employees. Regardless of whether there is a mandatory disclosure of the wage gap," Pedro Antunes told RH Magazine.
