Sara Reis, CCA's Coordinator of the Corporate/M&A Department, writes an opinion article for Iberian Lawyer on increasing foreign investment in new sectors of the M&A market in Portugal, such as technology startups, cryptocurrencies and pharmaceutical companies.
Sara Reis considers that, despite the challenges ahead for law firms, new opportunities will also arise, "I believe the technology sector represents the biggest opportunity for law firms. Disruptive industries such as artificial intelligence, FinTech and the Internet of Things keep attracting investors’ attention, both on a national and international level".
