The Labour department clarifies number of contracts up to effectiveness

"How many fixed-term contracts may I have until I become effective?" was the question posed to the Labour Department in light of recent changes made to labour legislation. According to experts in this field, "fixed-term employment contracts can only be renewed three times for a maximum of three years. With recent amendments to the Labour Code, the law becomes even more favorable to workers: the maximum period has been changed from three to two years, however, it only applies to contracts concluded as of October 1st, 2019".
