COVID-19: Acquisition of Space for Institucional Advertising to the Media


The Decree-Law n.º 20-A/2020 establishes an exceptional and temporary regime for the acquisition of space for institutional advertising to the media in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a measure to combat the negative impact of Covid-19 on the media, the government has offered to buy space for institutional advertising, for an overall price of 15 million euros, through television and radio programme services and periodicals, divided between national media and regional and local bodies, which will receive them respectively. The former is allocated 75% of the value, and the latter, 25%.
