Afonso is establishing his practice in the areas of Commercial, Corporate, and M&A Law, providing broad legal support across the matters handled by the practice.
He collaborates with different teams and contributes to advising national and international clients, participating in investment transactions and corporate restructurings, and supporting all stages of the lifecycle of companies and corporate groups.
He is involved in preparing corporate documentation, assisting corporate bodies in the performance of their duties, and conducting legal work in acquisition and reorganization processes. With a dedicated, detail-oriented, and business-focused approach, Afonso actively contributes to the development of effective legal solutions tailored to the operational and strategic needs of clients.

Afonso joined CCA in 2024 as a Junior Associate, beginning his legal career at the firm.
Prior to that, he gained experience through summer internships at Portuguese law firms and completed a professional traineeship in the area of Regulation and European Affairs within the Legal Services Department of a central bank and regulatory authority.
