With more than 30 years of experience, Carla provides legal and tax advisory services to national and international clients, with a particular focus on Private Clients and Family Businesses. She has extensive experience in advising national and international clients on taxation within the context of Wealth Management, including High and Ultra-High Net Worth Individuals and complex family structures.

 

She is recognized for her expertise in individual taxation, regularly advising clients relocating their family life to Portugal, as well as resident and non-resident investors with ties to the country, family offices, family groups and fiduciary entities. For many years, Carla has assisted these clients in managing, structuring and protecting their assets and investments, ensuring both their preservation and succession planning, including through family protocols. She also supports the implementation of innovative family governance models, offering an integrated and strategic approach to personal taxation and the long-term sustainability of family wealth.

 

Carla also has experience advising companies on the hiring of foreign employees, particularly from outside the Schengen area, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and proper tax coordination.
