With 20 years of experience in resolving complex judicial and out-of-court disputes, her practice focuses on class and collective actions—particularly in the areas of consumer protection, competition, big tech, and unfair contract terms—as well as contractual and non-contractual liability claims involving distribution agreements, insurance, financial investments, construction, real estate, air transport, mobility, car rentals, medical negligence, and corporate matters. She also advises on sports law.
Throughout her career, she has gained solid experience managing strategic litigation for leading national and multinational companies. She also provides legal counsel in corporate disputes, venture capital investment conflicts, and complex restructuring, recovery, and insolvency proceedings.
In recent years, she has developed a dedicated practice in medical negligence.

Catarina is currently a Senior Of Counsel at CCA, having joined the firm in 2018 as a Senior Associate and, from 2019, serving as managing associate. From then until 2025, she led the litigation department, building a career marked by increasing involvement in dispute resolution, with a particular focus on team management and strategic client support.
She began her legal career in 2006 as a trainee lawyer at a Tier 1 law firm with a strong Iberian and international presence, where she worked across several specialised practice areas. Between 2009 and 2018, she served as a Senior Associate in the litigation practice of the same firm, where she consolidated her experience in complex disputes and advising companies across a wide range of sectors.
