With a cross-disciplinary practice in digital, intellectual property, advertising, and consumer law, Catarina advises companies across various industries, with a particular focus on consumer rights, e-commerce, and data protection.
In the context of consumer law and e-commerce, she supports clients with day-to-day business matters, including commercial practices, promotions, warranties, and the legal structuring of websites and digital platforms. In privacy and data protection, she advises on GDPR compliance projects, including the development of internal policies, risk analysis, and data subject rights.
Catarina also provides legal support in reviewing advertising campaigns and commercial practices, as well as in protecting intangible assets such as trademarks, digital content, and copyright-protected works.
Her work includes direct engagement with public authorities and national institutions, including regulatory bodies and consumer protection agencies, ensuring a comprehensive and strategic approach to regulation, supervision, and reporting.

Catarina is an Associate in the TMT practice at CCA, having built her professional career at the firm since 2022, when she joined as a Junior Associate.
Prior to joining CCA, between 2021 and 2022, she was part of the legal department of an international digital marketing group.
