With 20 years of experience in both advisory and litigation aspects of Labour Law, Joana brings a broad legal perspective and a practical, solution-oriented approach to employment matters. She advises companies on day-to-day labour issues, always seeking solutions tailored to each client’s operational reality.
 
Her practice includes labour audits, workforce restructuring, disciplinary procedures, negotiation of termination agreements and the implementation of best practices. Joana works closely with HR departments of multinational companies, supporting the development of internal policies, codes of conduct and work organisation models.
 
She is particularly recognised for her ongoing legal support to companies in the retail sector, helping them manage daily challenges and comply with legal obligations related to workplace equality and safety.
 
Joana also advises on data protection in the employment context, helping clients ensure GDPR compliance in the management of employee data.
