Margarida advises companies on employment law matters, supporting all stages of the employment relationship as well as issues related to Social Security. Her practice includes drafting employment contracts, developing internal policies, conducting disciplinary procedures, negotiating termination agreements and carrying out labour audits.
 
She works closely with clients to navigate ongoing regulatory developments, with a particular interest in gender equality, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB). She also advises on the structuring of incentive plans and benefit schemes that support talent retention and the enhancement of human capital.
 
Actively involved in projects and working groups focused on the evolution of labour legislation and the future of work, Margarida contributes in a pragmatic and hands-on manner to the development of legal solutions that respond to the changing demands of the labour market.

Margarida joined CCA in 2023 and is currently an Associate in the Labour practice area.
 
She began her professional journey with a summer internship at a Portuguese law firm with strong roots in Porto and a broad national presence. In 2023, she started her professional traineeship at CCA, developing her practice in both Corporate/M&A and Labour Law.
