Maria provides legal advice to domestic and international clients in the areas of Commercial, Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions law. Maria’s practice is primarily focused on transactional work, including M&A deals, with particular exposure to private equity and investment fund transactions, where Maria is involved in the negotiation and implementation of contractual documentation and in due diligence processes.
Maria’s experience includes both domestic and cross-border matters, having taken part in multi-jurisdictional transactions in coordination with international teams. Maria has also been involved in transactions across a range of sectors, notably energy and the food industry, and provides ongoing legal support to corporate and fund-related clients, including on corporate governance and strategic matters.
Maria also advises on day-to-day corporate matters, supporting clients in the management of ongoing issues and the implementation of appropriate governance structures. Maria was on secondment to a company in the energy sector, which enhances Maria’s understanding of clients’ operational and business needs.

Maria began her professional career in the Corporate and M&A practice, having developed experience in mid-sized acquisition transactions, including in sectors such as the food industry and energy projects, as well as in the preparation and review of contractual documentation and participation in due diligence processes.
Maria subsequently deepened her practice in transactions involving private equity and investment funds, being involved in transactions with an international component and in multi-jurisdictional matters. Maria also has experience in providing ongoing legal advice to corporate clients and fund-related entities.
