With 10 years of training and experience across various areas of law, Maria Luís has focused her practice in recent years on Labour Law and Litigation, advising both companies and employees on complex employment matters.
She provides legal support throughout all stages of the employment relationship, including compliance, internal audits, conflict resolution, restructurings, disciplinary procedures, offboarding processes and contract termination — whether by mutual agreement, individual dismissal or collective redundancy.
Litigation is a central pillar of her practice, with regular involvement in labour and social security disputes, including judicial and administrative proceedings.

She began her career in 2012 as a trainee lawyer at a small law firm, where she gained experience across a range of legal areas. She later joined a larger national firm, where she completed her traineeship and continued as an associate, consolidating her practice in Labour Law and Litigation.
