With nearly 20 years of experience, Marta has practised in both Lisbon and Porto, focusing on Civil and Criminal Litigation, as well as advising on Commercial and Corporate Disputes, Media Law, Intellectual Property, Insurance, and matters related to Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency. Her broad legal expertise has allowed her to support national and international companies and corporate groups across diverse sectors, including media, insurance, construction, pharmaceuticals, and industry.
In recent years, Marta has also dedicated her practice to White-Collar Crime, Compliance, and Regulatory Law, advising clients throughout their compliance journey—from risk audits and the design and implementation of compliance programmes to training, incident response, and remediation strategies.
Keenly attuned to legislative developments and emerging regulatory risks, she supports clients in adapting to new legal requirements, with a particular focus on the growing challenges of cybersecurity in the context of criminal litigation.
Marta also serves as CCA’s Compliance Officer and is a member of the firm’s Ethics Committee.
