CCA Law Firm invests in new office in Lisbon

News

The Law Firm’s new office has 1300sqm and a privileged view of the Tagus River.

CCA Law Firm, a law firm specialised in supporting tech companies, has found its new home in Lisbon. Located in Doca de Alcântara Norte, in the Edifício Diogo Cão, the new headquarters in the capital has in its inception the dynamism and versatility that allow it to respond to the flexibility needs of today's companies and businesses, with a work environment that establishes greater proximity between its employees, clients and partners.

Domingos Cruz, Managing Partner of CCA, says that “given CCA’s market standing in thetech and innovation areasit made perfect sense to move to a workspace that represents our innovative culture and a concept of proximity with the different stakeholders. As innovation and technology are in our DNA and CCA is known for its flexibility and agility, the motto was to pass on to this project the aspects that makes us who we are and what we are known for. We now have a space that is also intended to be a new way of supporting and connect to our clients and partners”.

Developed by the architecture studio SpaceWorks, this project sought to “redesign the 21st century law firm” in a post-pandemic flexible working context. Located inside a historic building from the 1940s, a warehouse in the port of Lisbon with a wide view of the port and the Tagus River, the completion of the office included the construction of an additional mezzanine inside the spacious industrial building adapted to the new realities and different coworking concepts.

The main challenge of the project centred on creating different areas of focus, collaboration and interaction within a large and open warehouse. The harmonious solution found was a careful mix of modular elements to give longevity and flexibility to a highly dynamic team of future-oriented professionals who seek to project an image of change and modernity in the way legal work is carried out. The new space allows visitors to have a real perception of the work carried out daily by the firm and its collaborators.

Following this project, CCA and SpaceWorks are standing as finalists in the World Architecture Festival 2022 for the interior design awards, in a festival that seeks to recognise the best architectural projects worldwide.
