The first No Filters Conference of 2026 focused on the themes “The Real Estate Market in 2026” and “Investment Opportunities” and brought together, at the premises of MAP Group, industry experts and professionals for an open discussion on the future of the Portuguese real estate market.
Among the various contributions, Madalena Azeredo Perdigão, Partner in the Real Estate practice at CCA Law Firm, highlighted that 2026 is expected to represent a continuation of 2025, ruling out the likelihood of a new cycle of accelerated market growth.
According to the lawyer, although there are conditions and interest in developing projects outside the central areas of major cities, the market’s evolution will largely depend on the public sector’s response, particularly in terms of planning, licensing and supporting infrastructure. While suitable locations exist, the effective delivery of solutions requires alignment between private initiative and public policy.
The conference, organised by Diário Imobiliário, fostered reflection on the key challenges facing the sector, ranging from supply shortages and price pressure to the need for more integrated and sustainable urban development models.
