Clubhouse, the darling social network of the past decade, has gained tremendous popularity with society, operating in a kind of middle ground between the podcast and the WhatsApp audios. The difference is based, among other things, on the exclusivity of the network, since an invitation is necessary to join it. In an opinion piece for the IT Channel, Miguel Carvalho Marques, Associate in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications department, explains how this network works, which managed to conquer space in a society that wants to be open and inclusive, and what are the "rules" that operate there.

"The simplification is notorious and the advantages of the application seem obvious (...) However, many weaknesses have been identified, in particular with regard to the ever-present data protection", underlines Miguel Carvalho Marques.
