Rita Trabulo talks about law versus technology

News

The impact of technology on the legal sector, in particular of Artificial Intelligence (AI), is frequently discussed and it is common to ask ourselves about the survival of lawyers in the face of technological change. In an opinion piece for IT Channel magazine, Rita Trabulo, Head of the Startinnovation team at CCA, explains whether AI can be an ally of the legal sector or, on the contrary, it will be its rival automaton.

"It is said that ‘times change, wills change’, but we will have to go further. The answer to the initial question of whether technology can be allied to the ‘law’ lies in the continuous evolution and ability of human intelligence to adapt to the challenge. It lies in the challenge. The challenge of not only to adapt but also to seek this evolution, with the help of those who have experience in the matter and those who develop the technology that will be the ally of the law. The challenge of having Lawyer-Programmers. The challenge of having more and better tools to complete and enrich our intelligence. The challenge is the same for all of us: those who live in the world of Law and those who develop the technology sector", points out  Rita Trabulo.
