Mariana began her professional journey in litigation and arbitration, gaining substantial experience in criminal and regulatory offence matters. She has since concentrated her practice on economic and financial crime, with a strong focus on compliance and regulatory frameworks.
 
She has been actively involved in the design, implementation, training, and monitoring of corporate compliance programmes, contributing to the enhancement of internal policies to ensure alignment with legal and reputational standards.
 
In parallel, Mariana continuously deepens her knowledge of national and international compliance frameworks, particularly in the areas of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering. Her expertise in regulatory best practices strengthens her ability to provide strategic and technical support to both internal teams and clients.
